Neuter/Spay Voucher Program

When funds allow, the Pets Uniting People Society (P.U.P.S.) offers a Neuter/Spay Voucher Program designed to make a lasting difference in the lives of animals and the people who care for them. This program focuses on helping free-roaming cats, loosely owned cats, and the family pets of individuals who meet our qualification criteria.

We understand that not every cat has a single home — some are cared for by kind neighbors, small colonies, or compassionate community members who feed and watch over them. Others belong to families who love them deeply but are struggling financially. Our goal is to prevent the cycle of unwanted litters while improving the health and safety of these animals through affordable, accessible spay/neuter services.

When available, vouchers help offset or completely cover the cost of spaying or neutering at approved veterinary clinics. These vouchers not only reduce the burden on caretakers but also help decrease the number of kittens and puppies born without homes — ensuring more resources go toward the animals already in need.

By working together, we can humanely reduce the overpopulation of cats and dogs in our county. Every animal sterilized through this program represents fewer homeless pets, fewer shelter intakes, and more room for compassion where it’s needed most.

If you’re caring for outdoor cats, loosely owned animals, or need help spaying or neutering your pet, we invite you to contact us to learn about current voucher availability. Together, we can make a lasting, positive impact — one compassionate choice at a time.
