9 2018 PupsUnite.org Bugsy’s Story As Told By Dottie Smiddy A piece of my heart left tonight. Bugsy went to his new home. He knew my feelings. When I would get him out of his cage. He usually meows and squirms to get down because it was playtime. On the night of his adoption, when I got him out for his new parents to see him, he laid down in my arms and cuddled. As we were talking about him, he fell asleep in my arms where he was always so comfortable when he was in pain and suffering with those eyes. I said my goodbyes and kissed him and handed him to his new master and he showed affection to him and they were amazed of how loving he was and how well he handled himself being blind. They too have a blind cat, 8 years old and hoping he will bond with her and be a playmate. He doesn’t know a stranger, fully trusting and the bravest, best little kitten with all that he went through the first 10 weeks of his life. I will surely miss him but wish him only the best in his new home and with his new family. Just ONE More Reason Why Adoption Is So Important…
