High Hopes for the New Year

We have high hopes for 2018!

Our Pets Uniting People Society (P.U.P.S.) group tries to be innovative in our fundraising efforts, but, as any 501c3 nonprofit organization, we need a little help along the way. To fulfill the mission that we have set out to accomplish, we need fundraising assists, ie grants or fundraisers to supply the needed vouchers for neuter/spays in our community, especially in keeping the free-roaming cat population down as much as possible. This is an ongoing task as is the request for help. There are now different ways for the community to assist Pets Uniting People Society (P.U.P.S.).

Our group offers fundraising through our coloring books, cards, and postcards to those who love writing and puzzle activities with the family. Send your donation of $15 or more to: Pets Uniting People Society, Box 49, Tremont City, OH 45372 with your particular request of interest, whether it be the coloring/activity book, box of greeting cards with pictures of some of our rescues, or postcards with up-lifting message (a few selections are included on this page) to send off to a friend who may be across the miles or just across town to stay in touch. (It’s much more personable than email.)

Become a Pets Uniting People Society member for a donation of $15 a year. Your membership includes a copy of the PUPS Digest of which the new issue is due out by February 1st. Also, membership includes any special discounts given by our business sponsors. Check here often for upcoming membership specials. See our Membership link.

To let everyone know how we are doing. Here are our numbers for 2017:

283 neuter/spays (with free-roaming cats…includes rabies shot, 281 kittens/cats; 2 were puppies)

140 adoptions

Plus numerous medical assists to animals in need before adoptions were possible.

Visit here often for updates about our group and some of the happenings.

So here’s to high hopes for 2018!

On behalf of all of us at Pets Uniting People Society (P.U.P.S.): Susan Pike; Judy Benning; Dave (Dottie) Smiddy; Stacey Picolo…

Kindest regards,

Carolyn Hayes, Director/Founder, P.U.P.S.
